Job summary

Daikin Applied in Faribault, MN is seeking a Quality Technician II to uphold our quality standards on the 2nd shift. You will inspect materials, collaborate with production teams, and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.

You will train colleagues, use quality tools like Fishbone Diagram and 8D, generate inspection reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma and 2–4 years QA/manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years in quality assurance or manufacturing.
• Vocational/technical degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Quality Control procedures.
• Cooperate with production to maximize output while ensuring quality.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing material per specs and blueprints.
• Train other employees in day-to-day procedures.
• Utilize quality tools to analyze issues (Fishbone, 5 Why, 8D).
• Generate inspection reports and analysis.
• Support quality clinic activities and corrective actions.
