Job summary

Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, is a part of The Walt Disney Company. We’re seeking a Material Specialist to support Engineering & Facilities through purchasing, inventory management, procurement coordination, and materials control activities at our Aulani Resort on Oahu, Hawaii.

This full-time, on-site role reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities. Responsibilities include processing orders, coordinating requisitions, monitoring inventory, and ensuring compliance with Disney

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, materials control, or inventory management.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Includes both office and field work.
• Schedule flexibility based on business needs.
• Process material and spare parts orders and track through completion.
• Coordinate material requisitions and procurement activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy.
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and payments using SAP.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and movement of materials.
• Partner with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, and Shared Services teams.
• Maintain compliance with Disney purchasing, inventory, safety, and quality standards.
