Job summary

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, in Hawaii, seeks a Front-line Engineering Services Manager to lead a team of hourly facilities staff in daily operations onsite. You will oversee troubleshooting, repairs, refurbishment, and show quality of facilities assets, guiding safety and high-quality performance.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering & Services and requires strong coaching, budget awareness, and the ability to drive projects to completion while maintaining excellent guest

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years management or supervisory experience in an engineering, maintenance environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years within a hotel maintenance environment.
• Experience in facilities and/or kitchen maintenance with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of HotSoS, or comparable software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop management reports, report information accurately, and deliver projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the engineering Leads and Cast Technicians.
• Interview, scheduling, training, development, coaching and counseling staff.
• Provide recommendations and conduct performance reviews.
• Resolve issues and apply disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Implement and schedule PM programs in compliance with Disney standards and codes to ensure safety and asset protection.
• Contribute to safety, service and departmental performance.
• Provide technical oversight for troubleshooting and show quality of assets.
• Develop teamwork across departments while managing safety, regulatory compliance and productivity.
