Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the manufacturing process engineering function.
• Work with staff to plan and design methods to maintain, improve or enhance existing manufacturing processes.
• Develop and validate new production processes and upgrade existing production processes; ensure transition to production standards.
• Collaborate with other manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure new products are producible.
• Analyze budgets, schedules, and production requirements to determine cost-effective resources.
• Develop and revise schedules, resource allocations, and production standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, coordinating, administering, and supervising the activities of the manufacturing process engineering function for the organization.
  


• Work with staff to plan and design methods to maintain, improve or enhance existing manufacturing processes.
  


• Responsible for development and validation of new production processes as well as the upgrade of existing production processes and ensures effective transition to production standard practices.
  


• Work with other manufacturing and engineering departments to ensure all new products are producible.
  


• Assist in analyzing and reviewing manufacturing budgets, schedules, and production requirements to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources.
  


• Develop and recommend revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production standard operating procedures.
  

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing or Industrial Technology.
