Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure timely planning, procurement, tracking, and delivery of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for contract manufacturing. You will act as the liaison between Procurement, Supply Planning, contract manufacturers, logistics, quality, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory and minimize risk.

The role requires strong inventory management knowledge, excellent communication, and ERP system experience.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of inventory management concepts and material planning.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and standard supply chain reporting tools.
• Bachelor-level or equivalent experience not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, and replenishment needs.
• Coordinate replenishment of raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Serve as primary materials contact for contract manufacturers and partners.
• Track supplier commitments, purchase orders, and critical deliveries.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound transportation and resolve delays.
• Identify shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence risks; propose actions.
• Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and transfers.
• Maintain ERP data and generate inventory health reports.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to meet food safety and documentation requirements.
