Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Material Planner to ensure stocking levels meet production schedules and customer orders on time. You will coordinate with Sales, Finance, Supply, Engineering, Planning, and Operations to optimize materials and processes.

The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing planning, strong Excel, and ERP/MRP experience. The position offers growth in a family-friendly environment with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of supply planning, production planning, and scheduling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more; sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure material availability to meet daily production demands.
• Analyze daily material status and report shortages in daily calls.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply, Engineering, Planning, and Operations.
• Participate in daily production meetings.
• Mitigate material shortages through escalation.
• Perform unplanned component demand verification and updates.
• Manage material requirement changes and dispositions.
• Ensure BOM alignment and substitutions are properly handled.
• Perform monthly ROP sizing.
• Collaborate with buyers to ensure materials are available before work orders move to production.
