PACCAR's Kenworth Division is seeking a motivated intern to gain hands-on experience in Supply Chain and Logistics within the Materials team. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, suppliers, and cross-functional groups to ensure material delivery aligns with schedules.
The role offers exposure to supplier management, ECN review, planning/database maintenance, and participation in special projects.
Competenze
- Bachelor's Degree in progress focusing on Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
- Junior or senior standing preferred
Mansioni
- Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure material arrives on time
- Serve as focal point for Materials’ supplier management, monitor quality, service, and delivery issues
- Assist with identification and disposition of surplus/obsolete material
- Coordinate Surplus & Obsolete (S&O) identification, analyze reports, and update database
- Own planning/ordering duties for SKUs from multiple sources
- Issue purchase and/or manual orders to meet manufacturing schedules and inventory targets
- Coordinate engineering product changes (ECN) and maintain planning databases
- Support special projects/programs and host conference calls to resolve supply chain issues
- Communicate issues and resolutions to Materials Planner and Senior Leadership
- Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Access database preferred
