Daimler Truck North America is seeking a mid-level Materials Planner to support production by managing material flow, creating schedules, and coordinating with suppliers. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree or 3 years of related experience, ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP/Oracle), strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. Hybrid work schedule with on-site York, SC location.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3 years of related experience in material planning or manufacturing support.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) to support planning and scheduling.
• Ability to analyze inventory, shortages, and supplier performance to support production.
• Proficiency with Excel and planning/reporting systems; strong communication skills.
• Resume required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the flow of materials from receiving to production.
• Develop and maintain raw material and production schedules for manufacturing needs.
• Manage supplier lead times and delivery schedules to prevent production stops.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production to align material availability with demand.
