Job summary

Baker Hughes in Houston is seeking a Materials Manager to lead material planning and execution for our Flexible Pipe Systems production line. You will manage master planning, purchasing needs, and align with KPIs while optimizing inventory and processes.

You will collaborate with Engineering, maintenance, planning, and enabling functions to ensure technical and organizational alignment, and you will oversee S&OP, master scheduling, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
• Interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to lead programs / projects.
• Travel to manufacturing plants up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
• Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
• Conducting frequent interactions with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions.
• Leading a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget > $5 million.
• Leading S&OP, master scheduling, production planning, materials planning & warehouse teams.
