Job summary

Baker Hughes in Texas is seeking a Materials Planner to manage planning, scheduling, and procurement of materials to support the integrated supply chain. You will translate demand signals into physical orders and work with Sales, Operations, and AMO to ensure material availability and minimize costs.

Collaborating with global teams, you will monitor inventory, lead continuous improvement, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing asset utilization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in order management and inventory optimization.
• Proficient in SAP and MRP functionality; Excel skills required.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Convert demand plans into physical orders with Sales and Operations teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan against customer requirements to minimize costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics for on-time delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain processes.
• Analyze material consumption, aging inventory, and safety stock.
