Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Materials Planning Analyst III onsite at 8000 PURFOY ROAD, FUQUAY- VARINA, NC 27526 to manage end-to-end material planning and execution, ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing inventory and production flow.

The role requires collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Quality teams, driving planning discipline and responding to demand variability using SAP and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; Master’s with 3 years experience.
• 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain operations.
• SAP experience preferred (MRP, production planning, material master).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of planning systems, inventory management, and manufacturing flows.
• APICS certification (CPIM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and execute MRP signals to align supply with demand requirements
• Develop and maintain production plans that support customer delivery commitments
• Manage day-to-day demand fluctuations and adjust plans accordingly
• Create, release, and reschedule production orders to maintain plan adherence
• Ensure timely product availability for shipment
• Monitor short-term material availability and constraints
• Identify and resolve material shortages, excess, and obsolescence risks
• Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership on operational performance
• Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Quality teams to align execution
• Proactively communicate priorities, constraints, and risks impacting delivery
• Support escalation management for customer commitments and production issues
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean projects)
• Drive process standardization and adherence to planning best practices
• Support system and process enhancements (SAP, planning tools)
• Support capacity reviews and demand planning activities
• Participate in audits, business reviews, and operational readiness initiatives
• Lead or contribute to improvement projects assigned by leadership
