Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in North Carolina is seeking a Raw Material Planning Specialist to drive MRP execution and ensure material availability for uninterrupted production. You will manage ERP/SAP data, track supplier deliveries, and collaborate with procurement, production planning, and warehousing teams to mitigate material risks.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in material planning, a solid grounding in BOMs and lead times, and strong Excel skills to analyze data and report on planning

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in material planning, purchasing/procurement support, production planning, or inventory control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data analysis.
• Understanding of BOM structures, lead times, and inventory concepts; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP process in ERP/SAP to derive raw material requirements and requisitions.
• Monitor planning vs. production consumption; flag variances and shortages.
• Maintain raw material master data (BOMs, lead times, min/max, safety stock).
• Track planning metrics and prepare status reports.
• Convert requirements into requisitions/orders; follow up on confirmations and shipments.
• Coordinate with procurement, production planning, and warehouse teams to prevent material risks.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and reconciliation; identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Support S&OP data compilation and ERP/MRP improvement initiatives.
