Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Buyer Planner/Material Scheduler to manage procurement and inventory planning for UNC Dairy's manufacturing operations in Lancaster, NY. The role focuses on ensuring material availability while minimizing carrying costs through demand planning and supplier coordination.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Production and Quality teams, execute SAP MRP, monitor stock levels, and support new product introductions and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management or related field is required.
• APICS certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in material planning, procurement or production scheduling.

Responsabilités

• Execute MRP processes within SAP to generate purchase requisitions and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze demand forecasts and production schedules to determine material requirements across all manufacturing facilities.
• Coordinate material flow with Raw Material Inventory Planners to maintain safety stock levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters based on demand variability and lead times.
• Issue purchase orders and manage supplier relationships for assigned commodity categories.
• Support new product launches by ramping up volumes and qualifying secondary sources of supply.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance on incoming material inspections and non-conformance resolution.
