• 3+ years of material planning in manufacturing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management and multi-project delivery.

Aufgaben

• Manage assigned parts and suppliers, including all problem resolutions
• Develop suppliers to improve delivery and inventory control
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production
• Maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing surpluses
• Examine MRP daily/weekly to produce supplier releases
• Launch, schedule, defer, expedite, cancel POs to maintain inventory levels
• Monitor and update supplier lead times for system accuracy
• Facilitate suppliers understanding of delivery expectations and materials quantity via reports
• Proactively confirm delivery and schedules against purchase orders and adjust when necessary
• Collect shortage reports and tracking firm delivery schedules
• Obtain realistic delivery dates on shortages and follow up promptly
• Mitigate the risk of disrupting production by identifying parts shortages in advance
• Assist with packaging projects by implementing returnable packaging programs
• Monitor and manage freight and logistics costs
• Process material requisitions for materials, repair of parts, equipment, and special engineering projects
• Identify the root causes behind missed deliveries
• Optimize inventory accuracy with VMI, Kanban cards, or Min/Max systems
• Partner with Purchasing, Operations, Finance, and the vendor(s) to identify and implement the appropriate inventory levels, order requirements and quantities, and delivery offsets
• Follow established procedures; initiate and implement improvements
