Job summary

Phoenix Contact USA is seeking a Materials Planner I to manage stock levels, plan material releases, and coordinate with Production and Purchasing to meet customer demand. The role focuses on maintaining on-time delivery while controlling inventory costs.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and knowledge of MRP systems, with APICS certification preferred and strong organizational and communication skills. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Logistics.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• LEAN/Kan Ban knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems.
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage stock inventory levels for manufacturing.
• Develop and manage Stocking/Replenishment programs with suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders based on production demand and forecast.
• Coordinate with Strategic Purchasing on supplier-bonded inventory or blanket orders.
• Release production orders to the shop floor based on demand and capacity.
• Maintain item master data and planning data for future requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Engineering.
