Job summary

Aebi Schmidt North America is seeking a results-driven materials planner to ensure steady material flow from suppliers to production. You will oversee demand forecasting, inventory control, and supplier coordination to sustain uninterrupted operations.

The role requires 3+ years in material planning within manufacturing, a degree in supply chain or business, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will work closely with Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to optimize inventory levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business, or equivalent materials planning experience.
• 3+ years of material planning expertise in a manufacturing setting.
• Track record of constructing and guiding cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned parts and suppliers, including problem resolutions.
• Develop suppliers to improve delivery performance and inventory control.
• Coordinate engineering changes and build schedules with suppliers and production.
• Maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing surpluses.
• Examine MRP daily/weekly to produce supplier releases.
• Launch, schedule, defer, expedite, and cancel POs to maintain inventory.
