Job summary

LeoLabs is recruiting a Materials Planner to drive material readiness for radar manufacturing and deployments in a fast‑paced aerospace environment. You will scrub BOMs, coordinate with Engineering and Purchasing, and maintain ERP/Excel reports to reveal shortages and recovery actions.

You will partner with Production, Warehouse, and Inventory to ensure timely pick readiness and accurate visibility into material requirements, while supporting NPI and production ramp efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials planning, production planning, supply planning, inventory planning, or manufacturing supply chain.
• BOMs experience including multi-level BOMs and BOM scrubs.
• Experience supporting production kitting and shortage management.
• Understanding of production schedules, BOM demand, inventory, and purchasing.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Inventory, Engineering, and Planning.
• ERP/MRP systems experience; NetSuite preferred but not required.
• Advanced Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivots, data validation, reconciliation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to combine multiple data sources.
• Purchasing/procurement basics, RFQs, POs, lead times, expediting.
• Attention to detail, organization, and proactive risk communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete BOM scrubs and kit-readiness analysis for assigned production.
• Develop and maintain Excel- and ERP-based planning reports and tools.
• Translate build schedules into material-readiness actions with owners.
• Identify BOM discrepancies and coordinate with Engineering to resolve.
• Communicate procurement requirements and monitor supplier lead times.
• Coordinate Material Movement with Warehouse and Inventory teams.
• Categorize material requirements into Clear to Pick, Purchasing Required, etc.
• Identify shortages and create recovery plans with due dates.
• Support NPI and production ramp with material-readiness analyses.
• Provide backup purchasing support for urgent requirements.
