Talentify is seeking a Materials Planner Contractor in Euclid, OH. The role focuses on tactical planning, material flow, and accurate data management to sustain production and supply chain operations.

You will manage daily transactions, maintain reports, and support material availability while ensuring ERP/MRP data integrity and timely updates. This is an onsite contract role with no relocation offered.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Materials Planner Contractor will provide tactical planning and execution support to ensure the timely flow of materials, accuracy of inventory transactions, and continuity of daily operations. This role focuses on transactional execution, data maintenance, and basic analysis to support production and supply chain stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily work order and inventory transactions, including stocking, material releases, and cycle counts, ensuring system accuracy and alignment with physical inventory.
• Update and maintain standard reports to support routine operational meetings and enable informed decision-making.
• Review and monitor quality-related items, including non-conforming material and rework orders, ensuring appropriate visibility and system updates.
• Perform basic purchase order (PO) transactions on an as-needed basis to support material availability and flow.
• Support material flow execution by ensuring transactions are completed accurately and on time to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
• Maintain data integrity within ERP/MRP systems through accurate and timely updates to inventory, work orders, and related records.

Required Experience

• Associates Degree in a Business-related field, or minimum 2 years of material planning experience in a manufacturing environment.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience with cross-functional process improvement teams.
• Experience operating within a mature SIOP environment.
• Prior knowledge in machining within the aerospace industry.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for inventory and work order management.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
• High level of analytical skills utilizing ERP data, identifying trends and exceptions.
• CPIM certification.

Education Requirements

• Associates Degree in a Business-related field required (or minimum 2 years of equivalent material planning experience in a manufacturing environment).
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (preferred).
