Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in El Paso, TX is seeking an Associate - Inventory for a 3‑month contract. This onsite role requires operating PIT equipment, receiving and inspecting shipments, and data entry into the inventory system.

You will ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage while maintaining safety standards. The position runs Monday–Friday, 7AM–5PM CST, with a pay rate of $29.44 per hour and requires work authorization for the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and escalate roadblocks to prevent downstream defects.
• Operate a non-CDL vehicle to transport materials safely.
• Use PIT equipment and forklifts safely; EPJs and turret-trucks as needed.
• Receive shipments from carriers and unload them.
• Inspect shipments against SOP and determine acceptability.
• Perform quality checks per part number per SOP.
• Document receipts and close out receipts/work orders.
• Enter data into inventory management system from deliveries.
• Package and wrap parts as required for workflow.
• Sort and stage packages securely to prevent loss.
• Label parts with identifiers per SOP for traceability.
• Audit storage locations per SOP and manage storage

Associate - Inventory

Location: El Paso, TX

Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $29.44 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PM CST
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement - employee must evaluate, monitor, and elevate a roadblock identified while working in a role that can cause a defect downstream. Contingent worker must be able to support a root cause analysis and provide details with problem solving skills.
• Must be able to operate a non-CDL company vehicle to safely transport materials, equipment, and other items between designated locations.
• Proper use of equipment to support role - employee must possess fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts. This includes understanding the operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices associated with such machinery. Employee must be able to operate any equipment needed to move heavy parts/material throughout the facilities within the sites, including but not limited to: electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks and turret-trucks.
• Receive shipments - employee must be able to unload shipments delivered by carriers.
• Inspecting shipments - employee must be able to visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine if it is acceptable according to a standard operating procedure.
• Quality control checks - employee must review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure.
• Documenting receipts - employee must be able to use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to completely close out a receipt or work order.
• Data entry - employee must be able to navigate and select fields within an inventory management tool to input data directly coming from the physical delivery of a part. Employee must be able to navigate through modules and read information as it is needed for a specific task of Fulfillment.
• Packaging - employee must be able to identify what type of packaging is needed for parts, must be able to properly wrap/store parts with packaging at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow.
• Sorting and staging - employee must be able to move packages/boxes/crates/any storage container while its identified and secure to prevent loss within the workflow.
• Labeling and marking - employee must ensure all parts are part labeled, have identifiers outlined in the standard operating procedure in order to analyze parts through the workflow.
• Storage assignment/auditing - employees must properly store and use good judgement along with the standard operating procedure for the storage of parts that could be individual or in bulk. Employee must be able to audit per a standard operating procedure.

Required Skills

• 2 years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
• Safety is a top priority - it is imperative that the employee strictly adheres to established safety protocols and guidelines. This includes but is not limited to, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participating in regular safety training sessions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
• An attitude of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
• Mathematical skills. Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions from gathered information.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
• Must be able to operate forklifts.

Preferred Skills

• Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
• Electronic pallet jack experience.
