Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Supervisor of Material Management to lead a 12-person team in a cGMP manufacturing setting. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while coordinating cross-functional projects and training compliance across the site.

Responsibilities include optimizing inventory, SOP management, and supporting site strategy with operations leadership. Strong leadership and GMP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; eight+ years in manufacturing/production
• Strong computer proficiency and scheduling experience
• Understanding of GMP standards and quality systems
• Clear oral and written communication, and basic arithmetic
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of material technicians in manufacturing operations
• Analyzes staffing needs to support 24/7 production
• Supports quality deviations and safety investigations
• Coordinates training and maintains 100% training compliance in FDA environment
• Reviews production documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Develops, writes, reviews, and updates SOPs
• Maintains inventory accuracy and stock levels for production supplies
• Ensures cleaning and housekeeping of production areas
• Prioritizes activities to meet planning and business objectives
• Supports site strategy and process improvements for long-term goals
• Collaborates cross-functionally on OpEx, projects, training, talent development
