Job summary

Eaton’s Middlesex, NC facility is seeking a Materials Operations Manager to lead materials flow, scheduling, and inventory control to meet the Master Production Schedule. This role drives on-time delivery and cost efficiency by applying lean principles, coordinating with Network Planning and the SIOP process, and directing procurement, receipts, and shipping activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three (3) years combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information and U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant’s operations by deploying lean material flow.
• Administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to Eaton policies.
• Generate short-term production scheduling aligned by the plan defined by the Network.
• Monitor execution of production schedule defined by the Network.
• Escalation of material availability to the COE and Network teams.
• Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan.
• Execute shipment schedule aligned with customer priority dates.
• Champion and deploy continuous improvement using MMA, OPA, visual management, standard work and value stream mapping.
• Maintain target inventory levels and meet on-time delivery goals for internal and external customers.
• Own plant data health activities including routings and WMS, MRO, shipping/receiving, part movements, scheduling.
