Job summary

Stio, the mountain lifestyle brand headquartered in Jackson, Wyoming, is seeking a Materials Manager to lead materials sourcing, development, testing, and commercializing fabrics and trims across the product range. You will oversee timelines, BOM integrity, vendor relationships, and data in Centric PLM while advancing sustainability goals.

In this role you will collaborate with Design, Development, PLM, and Production teams, manage material costing, audits, and certification processes, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of materials development and testing experience in apparel or adjacent industries.
• Demonstrated command of fabric performance across wovens, knits, down, and synthetic insulations.
• Experience with PLM systems (Centric preferred) and data integrity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Curate and maintain a library of high-quality materials and trims aligned with brand positioning.
• Source fabrics and trims meeting design intent, manage print development and lab approvals.
• Own the seasonal materials timeline end-to-end from selection to production readiness.
