Job summary

Stio, an omni-channel mountain brand with headquarters in Jackson, Wyoming, seeks a Materials Manager to source, develop, and commercialize fabrics and trims that support the full product range. You will manage seasonal timelines, material planning, and vendor relationships, aligning with sustainability goals and go-to-market objectives.

The role includes owning the seasonal materials timeline from concept to production readiness, collaborating with Design, Development, PLM teams, and suppliers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science, Apparel Design, or related field.
• 3+ years of materials development in apparel.
• Experience with fabrics across wovens, knits, and insulation.
• Proven material commercialization with on-time delivery.
• Experience with Centric PLM and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Curate high-quality materials and trims aligned with brand.
• Manage seasonal materials timeline end-to-end from fabric selection to production readiness.
• Partner with mills to develop new materials and ensure cost targets.
• Maintain PLM records and support PIM and wholesale workbooks.
• Support certifications audits (RDS, RWS, GRS, GOTS) with sustainability lead.
• Educate cross-functional teams on material features during milestones.
