Job summary

The role emphasizes compliance with government property policies, FIFO, cycle counting, safety standards, and continuous process improvement across sourcing, storage, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• 2+ years managing a lead of supervisors, associates or technicians.
• Ability to be onsite, local to Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with regulations.
• Hiring & training talent who can manage material flow per Anduril guidelines.
• Develop processes that increase efficiency and eliminate waste; implement systems that match government property & inventory policies.
• Implement End-to-End material management measures including FIFO adherence, variances, cycle time optimization, and audits.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality to aid in demand forecasting and planning.
• Collaborate with production planning to align material availability with schedules and meet customer demand.
• Analyze material usage trends and implement lean practices to optimize handling, storage, and distribution.
• Utilize ERP & WMS to track inventory, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control protocols.
• Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team with coaching and performance feedback.
