Job summary

Air Systems Components, part of Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., in Ponca City, OK, seeks a Materials Manager to lead supply chain, inventory, and logistics, ensuring material availability and on-time delivery for manufacturing operations.

You will drive lean initiatives, manage master production scheduling, collaborate with procurement and production teams, and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 4–6 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or production environments.
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee master production schedules to ensure timely customer deliveries.
• Manage raw material availability and proactively adjust production needs to meet demand.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize capacity planning and minimize costs.
• Lead inventory control activities, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and demand forecasting.
• Oversee excess and obsolete inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate movement and scheduling of materials across internal and external processing locations.
• Manage inbound and outbound transportation in alignment with company logistics policies.
• Ensure warehouse operations have the necessary resources to execute efficiently and safely.
• Partner with supplier quality teams to drive compliance and improve logistics processes.
• Optimize supplier schedules to improve production flow and cost efficiencies.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance, address escalations, and maintain smooth material flow.
• Negotiate and manage consignment agreements and blanket purchase orders for critical materials.
• Champion the ADMS Material Control Pillar, driving lean transformation and supply chain maturity.
• Lead cost-reduction projects and implement best practices in materials management.
• Develop, mentor, and build a high-performing team, ensuring future leadership growth.
