Job summary

Pacific Packaging Machinery, a ProMach brand, seeks a Materials Manager in Corona, CA to lead procurement, planning, inventory control, receiving, shipping, and materials flow for custom filling and capping equipment.

You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management and Quality to optimize shop order management, capacity visibility, and supplier performance while driving Lean improvements and KPI management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of materials management, supply chain, or purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience with custom machinery, packaging machinery, or engineered-to-order manufacturing preferred.
• Working knowledge of procurement, MRP/ERP planning, inventory control, cycle counting, supplier management, production scheduling, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Syteline or similar ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement, planning, inventory control, receiving, shipping, and materials flow to support custom filling and capping machinery.
• Develop and maintain planning processes, shop order management, capacity visibility, and material readiness.
• Qualify, develop, and manage suppliers for quality, delivery, cost, and technical capability.
• Establish KPIs for supplier delivery, inventory accuracy, cycle count, and material availability.
• Lead Lean initiatives to improve material flow, lead times, and cross-functional performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Quality to support the full project lifecycle.
