Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group LLC on the West Coast seeks a Planning, Materials & Continuous Improvement Manager to align demand with manufacturing capacity and material flow. You will lead planning, purchasing, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives across production, quality, customer service, and finance.

You will drive performance using data, KPIs, and structured problem solving to improve service, inventory accuracy, and manufacturing efficiency while reducing waste.

Qualifications

Four+ years in production planning, scheduling, purchasing, or related manufacturing function.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and basic quality systems.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems for planning and inventory management.
Excel proficiency and capability to produce operational reports.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain short- and mid-term production plans based on demand and capacity.
Translate requirements into schedules, priorities, and material plans.
Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans as priorities change.
Oversee purchasing of raw materials and inventory control activities.
Lead cross-functional teams to improve throughput and reduce waste.
