Job summary

The Materials Manager at DwyerOmega will lead purchasing, planning, inventory control and stockroom operations to ensure timely material availability for production and customers. He/she will drive continuous improvement in procurement and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include supervising purchasing, planning and stockroom teams, aligning with sales and production, and delivering metrics to support business decisions. Requires strong leadership and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years in manufacturing materials management.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience; management training preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, planning, inventory control and stockroom activities.
• Hire, train, evaluate and develop staff to meet goals.
• Develop sourcing plans to reduce costs and improve supplier performance.
