Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a dynamic Materials Manager to lead the materials department within a manufacturing setting. You will supervise Materials Supervisors, Handlers, Warehouse staff, and Shipping/Receiving personnel while coordinating with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.

You will develop robust material-management processes, ensure material availability, monitor inventory, and mitigate shortages through cross-functional collaboration to support on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Experience with inventory management, material traceability, and scheduling is required.
• Supervisory or management experience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred.
• Experience leading hourly materials and logistics staff.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Materials Supervisors and warehouse staff.
• Develop material-management processes to support production and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production Control, and suppliers to prevent shortages.
• Review production schedules for material requirements and risks.
• Lead material planning activities with Production Control and Purchasing.
• Monitor inventory levels and establish optimal stock levels.
• Track excess or obsolete inventory and implement containment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and traceability across sites.

Education

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management
