Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing/materials management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience with materials management systems, including supply chain, cash flow and asset management; APICS/CPM certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or materials management; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all procurement and materials management activities including order placement, supplier evaluation and certification, price negotiation, and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate Production Planning and MRPII/ERP activities to support on-time delivery and achievement of business objectives.
• Maintain data accuracy and ownership for MRP databases and related systems.
• Monitor shipping/receiving performance and investigate discrepancies to resolve deficiencies.
• Support supplier-managed inventory, Kanban, and other lean initiatives to reduce cost and improve flow.
• Develop and manage department budget and drive cost reduction programs.
