At South Suburban Surgical Suites, we believe health and care are inseparable. We focus on offering a high-quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Orthopedics & Ortho-Neuro/Spine.

Materials Manager

The Materials Manager is responsible for procurement of all supplies in the Surgery Center. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, stocking supplies, and assisting Accounts Payable with invoice processing. We seek a highly motivated, energetic individual, as 90% of this role involves physical activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years receiving and inventory experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong math and counting skills required
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM preferred
• Computer proficiency required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel preferred)
• Ability to interact tactfully with the public and staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and lift heavy items above shoulder level
• Ability to work in a clean and sterile environment
