Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Supply Chain Manager within Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to own supply chain planning at the highest level for Amazon’s fulfillment network. You will monitor supply and demand across the network and drive large-scale inventory optimization, transportation cost control, and labor capacity planning.

In a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders from warehouse levels to Directors and VPs, use data to guide decisions, and shape the long-term

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
• 2+ years of supply chain experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Responsibilities

• Successfully operate and influence in a cross-functional capacity to create the 16 week S&OP plan
• Data mine by leveraging SQL to influence key business decisions
• Demonstrate strong Customer focus
• Work with tech teams to streamline the planning tools for accuracy and efficiency
• Identify, prioritize, and implement processes to eliminate defects in the supply chain
• Create, develop, and drive solutions that lead to a richer end to end customer experience
• Execute thorough root cause analysis and deliver results
