Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Supply Chain Manager in Austin, TX to own end-to-end material operations for multiple installation projects. You’ll forecast demand, align procurement, sequencing, and site staging, and drive improvements with analytics and AI-enabled tools across a growing portfolio.

You will coordinate with procurement, logistics, and IT, implement inventory planning systems, and ensure materials arrive where and when needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supply chain, planning, or program management.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• 5+ years with inventory management systems (WMS, ERP).

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end material sequencing strategy aligned to BOM and installation schedules.
• Coordinate vendor lead times, transportation plans, and delivery schedules with project milestones.
• Maintain real-time inventory visibility across sequencing centers and field sites.
• Evaluate and implement inventory planning systems; design workflow and onboarding with IT.
• Design material ops tech stack including asset tracking and interoperability between systems.
• Manage material flow from sequencing centers to field sites with coordinated kitting and staging.
• Create standard work for receiving, cycle counts, and material accountability.
• Drive improvements using analytics, AI forecasting, and dashboards.
