INSPYR Solutions in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Materials Manager to own shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehousing in a dynamic, development-focused setting. You will build practical systems for thousands of SKUs, manage a small team, and drive processes amid frequent engineering changes and an evolving inventory landscape.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and comfort operating without a fully mature ERP; you will shape workflows and drive improvements

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse management experience in high-variety, low-volume setting.
• Proven ability to build and improve warehouse processes from scratch.
• Experience leading a small team of material handlers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, barcode scanners, and lightweight WMS.
• Comfort operating without a mature ERP system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Oversee inbound receiving: verify orders, inspect goods, and process receiving docs.
• Coordinate outbound shipping for returns, transfers, and supplier exchanges.
• Maintain logs and communicate material arrivals to production planning.
• Establish inventory tracking for thousands of SKUs without a mature ERP.
• Lead a team of material handlers and coordinate with planning and eng.
• Develop warehouse workflows, SOPs, and preparing for ERP implementation.
• Ensure 5S, safety, and proper handling of hazardous materials.
