Job description

In this position, you will:

  1. Lead and facilitate daily operations of the Material Flow area
  2. Directly supervise employees including training, work direction, performance management, and payroll
  3. Provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction, and problem-solving to ensure business goals are met
  4. Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making, as well as recognizing them for exceptional work
  5. Be highly visible to associates and promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving
  6. Maintain RF material tracking system/equipment and drive velocity and accuracy improvements
  7. Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity

You have:

  1. Academic background of a minimum 2-year degree; a 4-year degree is preferred
  2. Previous experience in or with:
  • 3-5 years Manufacturing
  • Materials or Supply Chain
  • 1-3 years Leadership
  • Skills in:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and influence views clearly and compellingly
    • Efficient operation of computer programs including Microsoft Office and Epicor
    • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
    • Employee management, including conflict resolution, coaching, training, recognition, and engagement
    • Change management with knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, and adaptability to support new processes in a changing environment
  • Abilities to meet physical and environmental demands, including functioning in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly rotating between office and plant floor, and performing physical activities as needed
