In this position, you will:
- Lead and facilitate daily operations of the Material Flow area
- Directly supervise employees including training, work direction, performance management, and payroll
- Provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction, and problem-solving to ensure business goals are met
- Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making, as well as recognizing them for exceptional work
- Be highly visible to associates and promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving
- Maintain RF material tracking system/equipment and drive velocity and accuracy improvements
- Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity
You have:
- Academic background of a minimum 2-year degree; a 4-year degree is preferred
- Previous experience in or with:
- 3-5 years Manufacturing
- Materials or Supply Chain
- 1-3 years Leadership
Skills in:- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and influence views clearly and compellingly
- Efficient operation of computer programs including Microsoft Office and Epicor
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Employee management, including conflict resolution, coaching, training, recognition, and engagement
- Change management with knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, and adaptability to support new processes in a changing environment
