Materials Manager

Location: Mesquite, TX

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage all functions related to material handling, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
2. Design and implement procedures to enhance inventory accuracy, warehouse layout efficiency, and overall workflow.
3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and leverage data to drive continuous process improvements.
4. Collaborate with production, procurement, and facility teams to ensure alignment of material availability with operational needs and production timelines.
5. Maintain an organized and optimized warehouse environment, maximizing space utilization and minimizing material handling time.
6. Perform additional duties as needed to support overall operational performance and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials or warehouse management.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on improving material flow and reducing inefficiencies.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a history of making sound, data-informed decisions.
