An industry-leading company in the automotive sector is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Control Manager to join their growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop materials management strategies while driving operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of materials planners and inventory specialists.
• Design and execute materials management strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.
• Monitor inventory, conduct audits, and implement waste-reduction initiatives.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to align material needs with production schedules.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality operations.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and execute process improvements.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and internal policies related to material handling.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in materials or production control management, ideally within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and supply chain software.
• Experience working with Ford or other major automotive OEMs is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
