We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement and inventory for foam part production. This role ensures optimal sourcing, cost efficiency, and strong vendor relationships, collaborating closely with production to minimize waste and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source materials, equipment, and services, optimizing costs and quality.
• Prepare and verify purchase orders with accurate specifications and pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate deliveries.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Authorize payments and resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Analyze purchasing data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand material needs.
• Implement and track procurement process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or related fields (degree preferred but not required).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, budgeting, and cost control.

Physical & Other Requirements:

• Reasonable physical fitness.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position at our Barberton, OH headquarters. Remote work is not available.
