Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Southaven, MS is seeking a Materials Clerk to support hospital operations. The role involves delivering supplies to user departments, maintaining inventory, and processing stock requests to ensure patient care teams have what they need.

You will also perform data entry for patient charge sheets and care for patient care equipment, along with receiving/storeroom tasks. Basic computer skills and MMIS experience are preferred.

Specifications

Experience

• Knowledge of medical and non-medical supplies.

Preferred/Desired

• 6 months working with patient care supplies & equipment. Previous experience in medical supplies, including the ability to calculate usage and demand along with basic purchasing procedures.

Education

Minimum Required

• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Training

• Working knowledge of the Materials Management Information System and general warehouse/storeroom operations.
