Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Materials Management Supervisor in Torrance, CA to lead Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving. You will own day-to-day execution and drive scalable processes across the function to meet production needs.

You will build a high-performing team, set performance expectations, and partner with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve shortages and optimize material flow in a fast-paced defense manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in materials management, inventory control, or shipping/receiving.
• 3+ years of direct people-management
• Experience leading operations in fast-paced manufacturing with autonomy
• Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and material traceability
• Hands-on with ERP/MES/WMS systems and link to physical movement of material

Responsibilities

• Lead Materials Management team across Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving.
• Own daily Materials Management operations including inbound receipts and outbound shipments.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and develop team capabilities.
• Develop and maintain standard work, procedures, and scalable processes.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory accuracy and shipping performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve material constraints.
