Worley Group, Inc seeks an experienced Materials Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of materials management across EPC/EPCM projects. You will drive strategies, oversee the materials team, and ensure timely, safe delivery of materials aligned with project schedules.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in materials management, strong leadership, and expertise with AVEVA ERM, SAP, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in Materials Control or Materials Management within EPC or EPCM environments.
• Experience leading materials management teams on large, complex industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC/EPCM materials management processes, systems, and best practices.
• Experience managing the complete materials lifecycle from planning through receipt, storage, distribution, preservation, and final disposition.
• Strong understanding of construction-driven materials planning and coordination across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project materials management from planning through final disposition of project materials.
• Develop and implement project-specific Materials Management Strategies, Plans, Procedures, and Materials Responsibility Matrices.
• Manage day-to-day activities and workload of the materials management team, providing leadership and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Worley policies and Code of Conduct.
• Coordinate materials management activities across engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, fabrication, and project management.
• Plan project material requirements by aligning engineering deliverables, construction priorities, procurement schedules, and project execution plans.
• Oversee safe receipt, storage, handling, and disposal of project materials.
• Develop bulk materials procurement strategies to support schedules and minimize waste.
• Identify contingency requirements for bulk materials to manage losses.
• Monitor material availability, shortages, delivery status, and inventory levels; resolve supply chain challenges.
• Coordinate development of Construction Work Packages (CWP), Advanced Work Packages (AWP), and Procurement Work Packages (PWP).
• Maintain materials data in enterprise systems such as AVEVA ERM, SmartPlant Materials, SAP, Oracle, or MMS.
• Produce and analyze materials reports, shortage reports, inventory reports, and performance metrics.
• Participate in project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Work with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely, safe material delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in processes and systems.
• Coach and develop team members; foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Encourage innovation and share best practices in materials management.
