Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Five years of experience in materials and supply chain is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical supplies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain optimal perioperative consignment inventory and monitor outdated/overstocked materials to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate with clinical departments and the Business Office to ensure steady material supply aligned with the surgical schedule.
  • Analyze inventory data to boost efficiency and reduce waste; develop robust supply chain procedures.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs—from physicians to vendor reps—ensuring urgent requests are met.
  • Manage vendor access, in-service programs, and implement cost-containment strategies to protect the budget.
  • Oversee order records, verify shipping quantities, approve invoices, and track equipment loans/returns.
