Job summary

Hendrickson in Clarksville, TN is seeking a full-time Shipping/Receiving Lead to ensure smooth workflow and timely material movements to support production. The role includes coaching new and existing staff, maintaining data accuracy, and coordinating with customers and transporters.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years’ experience in material handling or shipping and receiving preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP II concepts, practices, and procedures helpful.
• Minimum 6 month as Line Leader (any department)

Responsibilities

• Assist in timely processing of outbound material issues and inbound receipts.
• Resolve data accuracy problems in shipping/receiving promptly.
• Perform filing activities per department requirements.
• Process receipts, match paperwork, and send to accounting per guidelines.
• Build relationships with customers and transportation companies to foster teamwork.
• Coach and counsel associates as needed.
• Process inventory transactions per guidelines and standards.
• Interface with internal personnel to resolve data discrepancies and lost time.
• Ensure tools and equipment are ready to meet schedules (forklifts, reach trucks).
• Assist in safety, quality, and accountability while keeping productivity.
• Support Materials Department in material accounting (WTS, DTSLOC, Warehouse).
• Schedule vacations and enter dates in KRONOS.
• Implement MOS objectives to increase productivity.
