Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Materials & Logistics Manager for 1st shift in Chicago, IL. You will oversee inventory accuracy, movement of materials, shipping operations, and coordination of internal and external logistics to ensure on-time delivery.

This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, ERP familiarity, and a drive to improve processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in materials management, logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP, inventory control, or warehouse management systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Receipt & Verification: Manage incoming customer and production materials upon arrival; Confirm product identification, quantities, and accompanying documentation; Investigate and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged shipments; Ensure work orders and processing paperwork are properly matched to incoming materials.
