Job summary

Furlani Foods LLC in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Logistics Lead to guide the Material Handler team and ensure material flow from receiving to shipping. You’ll develop staff, drive warehouse efficiency, and uphold food-safety and lean practices in a fast-paced bakery setting.

Collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Planning to meet schedules, improve inventory accuracy, and maintain 5S and OSHA/GMP compliance while delivering materials on time to production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading logistics or warehouse teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, receiving, storage, and shipping.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data entry accuracy.
• Commitment to food safety, lean practices (5S) and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of the Logistics and Material Handler team to ensure materials are received, staged, and shipped per production needs.
• Develop team members, drive warehouse efficiency, and promote food safety and lean practices.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Production, QA, Maintenance, and Planning.
• Enforce safety standards (OSHA, GMP) and ensure accurate ERP data entries.
• Support ongoing improvement projects and Kaizen initiatives.
