Job summary

The ideal candidate is organized, proficient with MS Office, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required; GMP awareness a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication via in-person, phone and email.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Stable work history.
• Must be able to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually in an environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates orders and purchases of raw materials with various suppliers.
• Assists with warehouse control and organization tasks.
• Manages periodic physical inventory of raw materials and performs reconciliation of the inventory in our database.
• Monitors raw material usage and identifies needs to meet production schedules.
• Researches and reconciles raw material inventory variances.
• Assists with on-boarding new suppliers and materials, including the gathering of appropriate documentation related to food safety regulations.
• Supports cross-functional team members in order to meet deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
