Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Materials Lead to supervise stockroom personnel, ensure efficient materials handling and accurate inventory. You will enforce policies, manage labor to daily needs, and drive lean improvements across the supply chain.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1+ year leadership experience, with strong attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and math/oranizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule.
• Experience shipping/receiving/inspecting product in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise stockroom personnel during daily activities.
• Enforce company policies and standard work across the team.
• Monitor workload and allocate labor to meet daily requirements.
• Maintain organized stockroom for safe, efficient storage and space usage.
• Promote continuous improvement and deploy lean tools in stockroom.
• Ensure accurate inventory locations and counts through audits.
• Prioritize staging to meet production requirements.
• Support BOM changes and product containment activities as needed.
• Ensure timely return to stock and line requisitions.
• Oversee training records and assist with performance evaluations.
• Ensure accurate timesheet submission before deadlines.
• Monitor packing materials and reorder as required.
• Organize jobs and assign labor by priority.
• Communicate issues with shipping and other departments as needed.
