Qualifikationen

• BA or BS degree or minimum four years leadership experience.
• Minimum five years experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact well and coach team members.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Supervises direct reports and provides leadership to department.
• Trains, supports and monitors direct reports to ensure expected job performance.
• Evaluates performance of direct reports by writing and administering reviews in a timely manner.
• Recommends wage adjustments, promotions and demotions of direct reports.
• Disciplines and coaches employees who fall short of job expectations.
• Evaluates labor requirements and works with Production Manager to assure proper staffing levels.
• Investigates and reports information to provide realistic schedules to Planning and Contracts.
• Drives Continuous Improvement by increasing throughput of product throughout all processes, implementing visual management tools for metrics and scheduling, organizing areas for smooth flow (layouts, bins, FIFO principles).
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager.
