Job summary

Schindler Group in Holland, OH is seeking a Lead Material Handler to oversee inventory, shipping/receiving, and stock movements. You will monitor team performance, provide coaching, and ensure safety and quality throughout production processes.

Requirements include a High School diploma, forklift/box truck experience, SAP/MRP knowledge, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and driving between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Must drive company truck between Holland & Maumee facilities as needed.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operator certification within 60 days.
• Previous forklift/box truck experience is required.
• SAP/MRP/ERP knowledge is preferred.
• Inventory management experience including cycle counting and correcting inventory.
• Working knowledge of Excel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead will monitor and develop employee performance to meet department goals.
• Oversee inventory management through cycle counting and stock movement.
• Oversee shipping, receiving and all stock movement activities.
• Maintain necessary records and reports for receiving, stores and shipment.
• Provide guidance and lead teams to achieve customer satisfaction and production goals.
• Assist with training, scheduling and ensuring adherence to procedures.
