Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Materials Coordinator for the Delavan, WI team to help achieve safe, efficient material flow and continuous improvement. You will track metrics, coach staff on standard work, and ensure timely material availability within SAP-powered processes.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and hands-on training with mobile equipment, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• ERP System (SAP, MFG, PRO, M2K) experience.
• Prior leadership and training experience desired.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing methodologies and/or continuous improvement.
• Certified to operate and train on mobile equipment such as Sit Down Forklift, Standup Reach Truck, and Tugger.
• Experience creating and utilizing basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Update and track materials and value stream MDI metrics daily in regards to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and Culture.
• Coach team members on standard work, MDI Metrics and overall material workflow.
• Become proficient in all SAP functions required of the materials lead position.
• Support production and material flow to ensure processes run smoothly and uninterrupted.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture within their team.
• Perform audits on material flow processes, supermarket accuracy, and pick accuracy.
• Perform training for employees on mobile equipment.
• Set daily work schedules to ensure that all production needs are met.
